   Cairo & Journey to Aswan

   After breakfast, meet your Egyptologist and begin your exploration of Cairo. Visit the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure and the Great Sphinx. Continue to the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum, where thousands of years of Ancient Egyptian history are brought together in one extraordinary collection. Lunch will be served during the sightseeing programme. In the evening, transfer to Cairo Railway Station and board the Abela Elite Sleeper Train. Settle into your private sleeping cabin as the Abela × Amisol Eclipse Express begins its overnight journey south through the Nile Valley towards Aswan. Overnight: Abela Elite Sleeper Train.

3. Day 3 · 1 August

   Aswan

   Arrive in Aswan and meet your local guide. Begin your exploration with a visit to the beautiful Temple of Philae, dramatically located on an island and reached by motorboat. After sightseeing, transfer to your hotel and check in. Later in the afternoon, board a traditional felucca for a relaxed sailing experience around Aswan's islands and the beautiful Nile landscapes. Optional Experience: A visit to a Nubian Village can be arranged for guests wishing to discover more about Nubian culture and local life. Return to your hotel and enjoy an early night in preparation for Eclipse Day. Overnight: Aswan.

4. Day 4 · 2 August

   Total Solar Eclipse Day

   An extraordinary and unforgettable day begins very early. At approximately 5:00 AM, transfer to Aswan Railway Station and board the morning train to Luxor, with arrival expected at around 7:00 AM. On arrival, meet your Egyptologist guide and travel directly to Luxor’s legendary West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After sightseeing, the experience you have travelled for begins as you continue to the specially selected and prepared venue for the Abela × Amisol Total Solar Eclipse Festival. The viewing site is located in the desert near Luxor, within a vast farm belonging to a monastery. It is a place of remarkable peace and tranquility, surrounded by open space. Covering approximately 55 hectares, the farm offers wide, unobstructed skies, far from noise and crowds, creating an ideal setting in which to experience this rare celestial event in comfort and serenity. The location also has a special spiritual character. For generations, monks have sought solitude here for prayer and contemplation in the silence of the desert, giving the eclipse experience an atmosphere that is difficult to find at a conventional viewing site. The site has the essential infrastructure required for the event, including electricity, water and guest facilities. Each guest will have a comfortable individual viewing space with a chair and umbrella, together with sufficient room for cameras and photographic equipment, allowing everyone to enjoy the eclipse without overcrowding. Abela Catering will provide the food and hospitality services at the venue, drawing on its extensive experience in catering at remote locations. A freshly prepared outdoor lunch will be served, together with water, soft drinks and light refreshments. Amisol Travel Egypt will manage and coordinate the event on site, including guest movements, the organisation of the viewing areas, local assistance and overall event coordination throughout the day. Then comes the moment everyone has been waiting for. The Moon gradually begins to cross the face of the Sun. The light around you slowly changes until the spectacle reaches its extraordinary climax with the Total Solar Eclipse, when daylight turns to darkness for a few unforgettable moments that will remain with you for a lifetime. Following the Eclipse Festival, departure from the venue is planned from approximately 4:00 PM. In the evening, visit the magnificent Luxor Temple, especially atmospheric after sunset. Afterwards, transfer to Luxor Railway Station and board the Abela Elite Sleeper Train for a comfortable overnight journey back to Cairo. Overnight: Abela Elite Sleeper Train.

5. Day 5 · 3 August

   Return to Cairo

   Upon arrival in Cairo, meet your local representative and continue to historic Khan El Khalili. Enjoy time exploring the atmospheric lanes, traditional shops and cafés of Old Cairo. Afterwards, transfer to your hotel and check in. The remainder of the day is free to relax, enjoy the hotel facilities or spend time around the pool after your extraordinary journey through Upper Egypt. Overnight: Cairo.

6. Day 6 · 4 August

   Departure or Extension

   Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to Cairo International Airport according to your international flight departure time. Alternatively, continue your journey with one of our optional Egypt extensions: Nile Cruise, Red Sea, Alexandria, Siwa Oasis, Western Desert, Abu Simbel, Golf or a longer Cairo stay.

Payment schedule: 30% of the total package price due on confirmation, 30% due by 5 February 2027 and the remaining 40% due by 5 March 2027. All payments are non-refundable once made, in accordance with the 2027 Eclipse Programme terms.
