Amisol Sustainability Scheme

Travel with purpose.
Leave a positive legacy.

At Amisol Travel, we believe tourism should create value for travelers, local communities, cultural heritage and the environment — and that every journey can become a force for positive change in Egypt.

Sustainability

Our commitment to sustainability.

The carbon footprint of every tour is calculated by the Carbon Footprint Center and offset through Egyptian farming cooperatives — a clear, four-step process applied to every traveller.

Pillar 01

Carbon Conscious Travel

Our Commitment

  • Prioritize lower-carbon transportation — trains, sleeper trains, Nile cruises and natural-gas vehicles wherever possible.
  • Design itineraries that reduce domestic flights and unnecessary transfers.
  • Offset emissions through certified local carbon reduction and regeneration projects.

How We Deliver

  • Carbon emissions are calculated for selected itineraries through our collaboration with the Carbon Footprint Center at Heliopolis University.
  • Carbon credits are purchased through the Economy of Love initiative.
  • Travelers receive a Sustainability Certificate showing the amount of carbon emissions offset through their journey.

Traveler Benefit

Every guest can travel knowing that their journey contributes to a measurable environmental impact within Egypt.

Traveler Benefit

Amisol works only with partners who share our commitment to responsible tourism — building a Sustainable Partner Network across Egypt.

Why we chose SEKEM

Sustainability should begin where our journeys take place.

Rather than supporting anonymous projects elsewhere in the world, we have chosen to invest directly in the people, land and communities of Egypt. This is why Amisol has partnered with SEKEM — one of the world's most respected sustainable development initiatives.

Founded in Egypt in 1977 by Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish, SEKEM has spent nearly five decades transforming desert land into productive biodynamic farms, creating employment, improving education, promoting organic agriculture and supporting sustainable rural development.

We believe travelers should be able to see and understand the positive impact they create. Every Amisol journey helps support a more sustainable future for the destination they are visiting.
